Oh, totally. I guess I have a Jersey accent... I dunno - I haven't heard really heard my voice compared to people from other states. And thankfully, the Sopranos have nothing to do with the Jersey Shore, (as far as I know) so I'm stereotyped as the beachgoin' surfer dude. Of which I am the polar opposite.
I'm in the suburbs, but in Colts Neck there's plenty of ruralness. (couldn't come up with a suitable word)

I do not live in the city, or any where near it.
There are rural parts of NJ too.
